For all athletes in Non World Class or Color Belt divisions, it is possible to join the WCT competition team without placing a medal in March if the athlete has completed 6 months of training. However, the 6 months of training does not guarantee a spot. One month after the March qualifier there will be Selection Proceedings at which athletes will need to perform once more to try and show that they have prepared for the national level of competition. It is after these proceedings that one may be selected after having not medaled in March.
